Awards
Every finisher will receive a finisher's medal. Every runner is a winner!
!rst, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place custom medals will be awarded to the 1rst, 2nd,
3rd, 4th, and 5th place finishers, both boy and girl, in every age category
except the 5 and unders and walkers.

9 year old boys 9 year old girls
10 year old boys 10 year old girls
11 year old boys 11 year old girls
12 year old boys 12 year old girls

Also remember that, if you participate in all five races, you will receive a special
prize at the last awards ceremony. You must be sure to turn in your tag to
the finish line worker to get credit for the race. This will be easy to do
because, at the finish line, you will be guided through a chute and a worker will
tear off your barcode tab from your bib number pinned to the front of your shirt.
There is one barcode per race attached to the bib. Please wear your bib
number to every race and please don't tear the tab yourself.
You can also help your school by participating in every race. For every race you
run, your school gets a point. We keep track of this and will award the top three
schools P.E. departments $500 for 1rst place, $300 for 2nd place and $200 for
3rd place. This could help buy new equipment for you to play with!
